PROYECTO SANTUARIO Uno de los mayores problemas del refugio sobreviene con las lluvias y las inundaciones de sus instalaciones a causa de su actual ubicación, por lo que SOS Canya ha puesto enmarcha el proyecto Santuario. Una nueva finca, sufragada por las donaciones privadas que reciben y con el apoyo del Ayuntamiento de Los Barrios, donde están ya construyendo las nuevas instalaciones parapoder trasladar a los animales. La fundación sigue creciendo y lo hace con un balance positivo que refuerza la confianza en su gestión. Aun así, hacen un llamamiento a la colaboración para la supervivencia del refugio, que depende enteramente del apoyo de la comunidad. Se puede formar parte del proyecto de muchas maneras: adoptando, acogiendo, donando o con voluntariado. MÁS DE 600 HISTORIAS QUE MERECEN SER CONTADAS El año pasado, más de 600 perros encontraron familia gracias a SOS Canya. Detrás de cada número hay un perro que empieza una vida nueva y una familia que recibe una compañía única. Puré y Pastora son los perros que con más urgencia necesitan encontrar una casa de adopción, ya que son mayores y están enfermos y no deberían estar en una jaula. Llevan mucho tiempo viviendo en la protectora, donde se les da cuidado y cariño desde el primer día que fueron acogidos. Olivia, una pastora belga malinois, acaba de llegar, pero también requiere mucha ayuda, ya que está ciega. The main aim of this shelter is that no dogs are abandoned. SANCTUARY PROJECT One of the biggest problems that the shelter faces is the rain and the flooding at its current location, so SOS Canya has initiated the Sanctuary Project. They are already building facilities for the animals on a new estate funded by private donations and the support of Los Barrios Town Hall. The foundation keeps growing and is doing so with a positive balance, which boosts confidence in how it is managed. Nevertheless, they are requesting collaboration so that the shelter can survive, something that depends entirely on support from the community. It is possible to get involved in the project in many ways: sponsoring, adopting, donating or volunteering. OVER 600 STORIES DESERVE TO BE TOLD Last year, over 600 dogs found a family thanks to SOS Canya. Each case means that a dog finds a new home and a family can enjoy some special company. Puré and Pastora are two dogs that urgently need to find a home as they are old and unwell and should not be in a cage. They have been living in the shelter for a long time, where they have been receiving love and care since the very first day.
