SHE DID SOME OF HER PHOTOGRAPHY AT THE BEGINNING OF THE 20TH CENTURY IN GIBRALTAR AS A CONSEQUENCE OF HER STAY IN THE MOUNT, THE OFFICIAL RESIDENCE OF THE SENIOR NAVAL OFFICER, WHICH WAS HOME TO HER BROTHER SIR WILLIAM ACLAND, A ROYAL BRITISH NAVY OFFICER. USING IT AS HER BASE, SHE TOOK SOME OF THE OLDEST COLOUR PICTURES OF THE AREA.
