He de reconocer que de niño no era el deporte que más me entusiasmaba. Estudié en Inglaterra y fue cuando volvía a Sotogrande de vacaciones, cuando comencé a ponerle un poco más de ganas. El siguiente paso fue ya jugar la temporada en Inglaterra. Yo creo que lo que me atrajo del Polo era la conexión con los caballos, la intensidad de la competición y la emoción que sentía en cada partido. When you were six, you came to live in Sotogrande and your father worked in the polo club for 25 years. How did you come to take up polo and what attracted you to this sport? I must admit that it wasn’t the sport that I was craziest about as a child. I went to school in England and when I came back to Sotogrande on holiday, I began to take more of an interest. The next step was to play a season in England. I think that what attracted me to polo was the connection with the horses, the intensity of the competition and the excitement I felt during every match.
