Sin embargo, debo admitir que, mi visita a la Finca La Donaira ha superado con creces todas mis expectativas y se ha convertido, sin lugar a duda, en mi experiencia favorita de disfrute, desconexión y revitalización de cuerpo y mente. Entre la Serranía de Ronda y el Parque Natural de La Sierra de Grazalema se encuentra La Finca La Donaira. Son 700 hectáreas de jardines y huertos orgánicos, bosques de encinas y robles, olivos y viñedos. La esencia que impulsa este eco-resort se alinea con las últimas tendencias en la concepción de experiencias turísticas, donde la sostenibilidad y la reactivación de áreas rurales son protagonistas. En un gesto de cercanía, la finca ha entrelazado sus raíces con los pueblos de Montecorto y de El Gastor, a solo unos minutos en coche, estableciendo una conexión genuina entre sus habitantes y La Donaira. No sorprende que gran parte del equipo, por cierto, todos ellos muy profesionales y afables y distintos proveedores de la finca provengan de estas comunidades, añadiendo un toque de autenticidad local a cada momento vivido en este sublime refugio ecológico. As part of my work in the tourism sector, I have been fortunate enough to visit a large number of hotels around the world during my career. However, I must admit that my visit to Finca La Donaira completely blew me away and it has become hands down my favourite experience for having fun, disconnecting and revitalizing body and mind. Finca La Donaira is located between the hills of Ronda and the Grazalema Natural Park. It covers 700 hectares, and is home to gardens, vegetable gardens, vineyards and forests of oak trees, holm oaks and olive trees. The essence behind this eco-resort is in line with the latest trends in tourism experiences, where sustainability and the reactivation of rural areas take centre stage. As a neighbourly gesture, the finca has intertwined its roots with the villages of Montecorto and El Gastor, both just a short drive away, thereby establishing a genuine bond between their inhabitants and La Donaira. It is no surprise then that most of the team -all very friendly and professional, by the way - and several of the estate’s suppliers come from these communities, adding a splash of local authenticity to every moment you enjoy in this sublime eco-haven.
