In charge is Cocó, enamoured with tableware, and carrying on the saga with a fresh, contemporary perspective, while staying true to the essence of welcoming guests and enjoying time around a beautiful table. With a carefully-chosen selection of special pieces, distinctive tableware and charming details—many of which are proprietary designs handmade in Portugal—El Almacén de Loza brings back the pleasure of laying the table, everyday celebrations, and creating warm, carefully-curated moments full of personality. It is a space for those that enjoy creating cosy, attractive table arrangements brimming with character. This table is inspired by Porto and cool Portuguese summers. The blue of the Atlantic Ocean, such an important part of the city, appears in the tableware, place mats and glasses, resulting in a bright but serene composition. The hydrangeas are a fresh and natural nod to the north of Portugal. The plates belong to the Bambú collection and the bowls to the Samy collection, all hand-painted in our workshop in Portugal. The table would not be complete without these true textile gems: napkins hand-embroidered in Lagartera and an Italian linen table cloth with a flower pattern that brings the whole composition together.
