Empieza caminando la parcela, entendiendo cómo cae la luz a distintas horas, qué es lo que el lugar ya tiene resuelto y qué es lo que pide. L35 Architects ha convertido esa actitud en método. En Sotogrande esa pregunta tiene respuestas muy concretas. Los alcornoques centenarios de La Reserva, las vistas cruzadas hacia el golf y el mar, la cultura de vivir hacia fuera casi todo el año. Village Verde nació de escucharlas. El proyecto no impone una arquitectura sobre el territorio; la negocia con él. La disposición de los bloques respeta la arboleda existente. Las terrazas, de dimensiones generosas, no son un añadido de lujo sino la respuesta lógica a un clima que invita a borrar la frontera entre dentro y fuera. Los materiales — piedra natural, maderas nobles — son parte de esa misma lógica: los mismos que lleva siglos usando este territorio. Una lógica que se prolonga hacia dentro: roble, lino, ratán, estucos minerales que enraízan el espacio doméstico en el lugar. Desde su sede en el puerto deportivo de Sotogrande, donde estudio, espacio expositivo y showroomdemateriales conviven en un mismo lugar, L35 lleva ese mismo criterio a su relación con los clientes: mostrar, tocar, decidir juntos. In Sotogrande that question has very specific answers. The centuries-old cork oaks of La Reserva, the views across the golf course and the sea, the culture of living outdoors for most of the year. Village Verde was born from listening to them. The project does not impose an architecture on the land; it negotiates with it. The layout of the blocks respects the existing trees. The terraces, generously proportioned, are not a luxury add-on but the logical response to a climate that invites you to erase the boundary between inside and out. The materials — natural stone, noble woods — are part of that same logic: the same ones this territory has been using for centuries. A logic that continues inward: oak, linen, rattan, mineral plasters that root the domestic space in its place.
